Just making it through the days...

Three weeks until christmas. Two weeks until I am in Salt Lake. Looks like there is happiness in my future. In the meantime, I just am going to try to go about my business. I actually did alot today. I made the bed, which was an accomplishment. Usually all the blankets just get jumbled in the middle of the bed and at night we have to crawl into bed while trying to sort out the mess. I love a made bed. Just kinda sets the tone for the rest of the day.

I also had the best exercise day I have had in a while. I ran a little over 6 miles! I don't think I have done that since I ran the 10k with Kristin back in 2005.

And even better I did in an hour. When we ran the 10k we did it in like an hour and 2 minutes or something. And this time I didn't have an 80 year old woman beat me either. So that was an added plus. It made feel really good that I still have it in me.

And to top off the day, I made up for the calories burned and had french toast and bacon for dinner. KC has taught me the joy of having breakfast for dinner. Not only does it cost less than the other meals, but it allows us to have all the yummy breakfast dishes that I am to tired to make in the morning. Our favorite is a skillet that we throw in hashbrowns, eggs, and sausage (and I include green onion in mine). It's pretty good.

So after reviewing today, I guess waiting until christmas or even going to salt lake won't be that bad. For me at least, I can speak for KC (or the rest of you).

  1. The lady was a young, vibrant 79. And I am pretty sure she was on Ecstasy. There's no other way to explain it.

PS Breakfast for dinner is great.
